We are incredibly proud to partner with a family-owned and operated business that shares our core values of safety, quality, and community. By joining forces, we are making it easier than ever for families in Chicago’s northwest suburbs to access premium outdoor recreational equipment.

Reading this guide will introduce you to the rich history of Fenceworks, highlight the exceptional products they now offer, and explain how you can start designing the ultimate backyard experience for your family.

A Legacy of Trust in Chicagoland

Since 1967, the Fenceworks family has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for homeowners across the Chicago suburbs. Unlike heavily franchised big-box stores, Fenceworks remains completely family-owned and operated. This independence allows them to maintain strict quality control and provide a highly personalized customer experience.

Over the past fifty years, they have built a stellar reputation. They boast an A accreditation from the Better Business Bureau, consistently high ratings on Google, and glowing reviews on Yelp and Houzz. Customers frequently praise their prompt communication, honest pricing, and fast installation times. When you choose to work with Fenceworks, you are partnering with a team that treats your property with the utmost respect.

Discover Premium Wooden Swing Sets

We believe that every child deserves a safe, inspiring place to play. With Fenceworks now acting as an authorized dealer, Chicago residents have direct access to our industry-leading play structures.

Choosing the right swing set is a major decision for any family. You need something that will entertain the kids, keep them secure, and withstand the harsh Midwestern winters. Our wooden swing sets are engineered with heavy-duty materials and rigorous safety standards in mind. Fenceworks carries a wide variety of these wooden playsets, giving you the flexibility to choose a model that perfectly fits your yard size and budget. The Fenceworks team can help you design a custom swing set using our 3D playset designer as your children test the Backyard Adventures display in the Northbrook showroom.

Because Fenceworks specializes in seamless installations, you will not have to worry about assembling complex playsets yourself. Their licensed and bonded team assembles any swing set they sell, ensuring your new play structure is securely anchored and ready for years of safe play.

Creating a Complete Backyard Oasis

While we are incredibly excited about the addition of our playsets to their catalog, Fenceworks offers a comprehensive suite of outdoor products. They are truly a one-stop shop for backyard entertainment and security.

Privacy and safety are the foundation of any great yard. Fenceworks offers top-tier fencing options, including cedar, vinyl, composite, and aluminum. A sturdy fence keeps your children and pets safely contained while providing a beautiful backdrop for your new play structures.

High-Performance Basketball Hoops

If you have older children or simply love the game yourself, bringing a basketball court to your driveway is a fantastic investment. Fenceworks carries premium in-ground basketball hoops from top brands like PROformance Hoops, ensuring you get gymnasium-quality play right at home.

Industry-Leading Trampolines

Bouncing is a fantastic way for kids to burn off energy and improve their coordination. Fenceworks provides some of the safest trampolines on the market, featuring advanced safety enclosures and heavy-duty frames.

Frequently Asked Questions About Chicago Playsets

How long does it take to install a swing set?
Professional installation times vary based on the complexity of the play structures you choose. However, the experienced crews at Fenceworks typically complete most standard installations within a single day.

Why should I choose wooden playsets over metal or plastic?
Wooden swing sets offer unmatched durability, stability, and aesthetic appeal. High-quality cedar and redwood naturally resist rot and insect damage. Furthermore, heavy wooden frames are far less likely to tip or sway during vigorous play compared to lightweight metal or plastic alternatives.

Can I customize my playset?
Absolutely. One of the biggest advantages of working with an authorized dealer like Fenceworks is the ability to tailor your swing sets to your family's specific needs. You can add extra slides, swap out swing types, and incorporate fun accessories like steering wheels or rock walls.
